suitable for swimming.
Length: The whole area offers some 800 metres of coastline with numerous
bathing possibilities. Width: This ranges from 15 to 30 metres.
Composition: Areas of very fine, dark-brown natural sand, together with
raised areas of rock very suitable for bathing or stretching out to take
the sun.
Sea bottom: Shallow sandy areas are combined with sectors of rocks or

deep and at 50 metres out one metre.

the sandy shallows combining with rocky sections and its clear clean
water giving the sea floor a turquoise colouration. From the beach an
enchanting view over to the western islets can be had.
SUMMARY COMMENT: This is one of the island's most beautiful beaches,
with panoramic qualities which make it a must for all visitors. The variety
of its aspects offer all sorts of possibilities - sunbathing, safe bathing,
underwater exploration and walks in the surrounding countryside.
