Description and type: Along the
tarmaced streets which lead to the promenade, where the beach is located.
Means of transport: Private car, bicycle, or by foot given the proximity
of the town centre. There is a regular bus service linking Ibiza with
Santa Eularia.
Distance: 14 kilometres from Ibiza, 0 kilometres from Santa Eularia.
Description: It is located in front of the town and within the large
bay of Santa Eularia.
Length: 260 metres - Width: 35-40 metres on average
Composition: Fine light-coloured sand brought from underwater banks.
Sea bottom: Until 15 metres from the shore the depth is less than 1 metre,
reaching 2 metres at 25 metres out.
Direction, prevailing winds: Mainly light southerly winds from the sea.
Panoramic aspects: Of particular interest is the mouth of the only river
in the Balearics, the river of Santa Eularia.
SUMMARY COMMENT: An ideal place for those who prefer not to travel too
far, with wind conditions and gradients which make it very safe for bathing
and for beginners in sailing, not to mention ample facilities for dining
and leisure.
