PLAYA DE CAN MARTINA

Description and type: Verry close to Cala Pada and reached along the same route, following the signs from the asphalted road which leads from Santa Eularia.

Means of transport: Private car, bicycle; there is also a bus service.

Distance: 20 kilometres from Ibiza, 6 kilometres from Santa Eularia.

Description: This is a cove which forms part of a larger coastal inlet with mainly shallow waters.
Length: 125 metres - Width: 20 metres
Composition: Medium-grained, ochre-coloured sand of natural origin.
Sea bottom: Also sandy. The marked-off area for bathers does not reach 2 metres in depth, which ensures the safety of less expert swimmers.
Direction, prevailing winds: Gentle sea breezes from the south, ideal for safe sailing.
Panoramic aspects: Marine horizon.

SUMMARY COMMENT: The main attraction of the beach is the attention to safety both for swimming and sailing; there are in addition many other attractive games, making it an essential venue for those interested in these activities.
