PLAYA DE S´ARGAMASSA

Description and type: Very close to Cala Pada and reached along the same route, following the signs on the asphalted road which leads from Santa Eularia.

Means of transport: Private car, bicycle, there are bus and launch services during the summer season.

Distance: 18 kilometres from Ibiza, 3 kilometres from Santa Eularia.

Description: This is a section of the coast flanked by marine banks, with different points suitable for bathing and a small sandy beach in the middle.
Length: 50 metres - Width: 4-5 metres
Composition: Areas of natural sand are combined with rocky sections. There is a man-made protective platform suitable for sunbathing with hammocks and sunshades.
Sea bottom: Also of sand and rocks, very well suited for snorkelling. The gradient from the beach is gentle and the depth does not reach 2 metres until quite some way out.
Direction, prevailing winds: Its aspect gives winds mainly from the south, gentle and from the sea.
Panoramic aspects: Marine horizon.

SUMMARY COMMENT: A beach area whose natural conditions provide complete security of bathing and the possibility of snorkelling, as well as a full range of aquatic sports for those interested.
