Description: This is an area of coast that forms a sheltered inlet, made
up of low-lying coast amongwhich is found the sandy strip that gives
its name to the beach.
Length: 60 metres - Width: 10 metres -
Composition: The beach is composed of medium-grained sand, as well as
numerous rocky corners.
Sea bottom: In front of the beach the sea floor is sandy with individual
stones. Throughout the area the gradient is fairly marked.
Direction, prevailing winds: Orientation towards the north-east provides
breezes from the sea to the land, although there are frequently somewhat
strong winds.
Panoramic aspects: The place provides attractive marine scenery, with
numerous lovely comers among
the rocks, raised platforms and little islets.
SUMMARY COMMENT: This place is ideal for enjoying the scenery with numerous
quiet corners for sunbathing among the rocks; there are interesting places
to practise snorkelling and a range of possibilities for walks in the
beautiful surroundings.
